Morning session 'How to detect and counter unknown threats?' on the 5th of June 2018

This edition of our ‘be in control’ Morning sessions is dedicated to the unknown threats a lot of organizations are currently facing, and in most cases cannot be detected by their traditional security measures.

During this morning a few of our strategic vendors will inform you about their solutions, their experiences in the field and how to use their solutions in your own environment to further strengthen your security posture. We will tell you all about anomaly detection based on machine learning and AI, crowdsourced security testing vs the traditional way of vulnerability management/pentesting and about the difference between information and intelligence. The solutions we are going to present can act as an addition to your currently installed security measures such as a SIEM, a firewall or an IDS/IPS and therefore provide extra enrichment capacity.

Below you can find the preliminary schedule for this Morning session:

9:00 - 9:30 Welcoming guests with coffee and a small bite
9:30 - 9:40 Short word of welcome by iSOC24
9:40 - 10:20 A hacker-based approach to stay one step ahead of the adversary by Andy Condliffe of Synack
10:20 - 10:40 Coffee break and opportunity to meet your peers
10:40 - 11:20 Anomaly detection based on machine learning and AI, by Ennio Di Rosa of Darktrace
11:20 - 12:00 The difference between information vs. actionable intelligence by Andy Chandler of Blueliv
12:00 - 12:30 Closing followed by lunch

After this Morning session you will be informed about the possibilities to make your current security solutions just a bit smarter so you can stay one step ahead of the adversary. Together with Synack, Darktrace and Blueliv we look forward to your attendance!
